Classic Navy Blue and Pink Wedding at Greenbrier Country Club in Chesapeake, Virginia

Cameron and Tyler

Cameron and I met a few years ago at a wedding. Her brother was marrying one of my best friends. She was bubbly, constantly smiling, and extremely friendly. She is one of those people you just feel lucky to know. Her smile lights up a room and she is as sweet as can be. I was so excited when Cameron reached out to me to photograph her wedding.

I then met Tyler at their engagement session. He was quiet and very polite. Seeing the two of them together, it just made sense. They balanced each other out. And after spending a few hours with them, I felt like I had known them forever.

Shooting a wedding with a couple like this is a dream come true! I keep telling friends and family that this is the type of wedding and family that makes me want to photograph weddings forever. Everyone was so fun and friendly and so caring!  From the family to the guests, everyone was there to celebrate Tyler and Cameron’s marriage and to love up on the newlyweds! The love and happiness were infectious. And it never hurts when the couple is as beautiful as Tyler and Cameron. I had such a hard time picking a few favorite images because she looked STUNNING in every single one!

The Day

The day started at Cameron’s parent’s house to get ready. A beautiful house in Virginia Beach by a lake, on a golf course. We then moved to Great Bridge United Methodist Church for the ceremony, and finally out to Greenbrier Country Club for the reception. We took golf carts as soon as we got there and went straight to hole 4. According to Cameron’s grandma, that was the spot to be. Grandma did not disappoint! Hole 4 overlooked a lake and was surrounded by tall trees. It was beautiful!

The night ended with something I had never witnessed before: a last dance. Everyone exited the reception space to line up for the grand exit. But before they left, Cameron and Tyler shared one last dance together. With servers clearing tables around them, the two danced to one last song. This was my favorite part of the whole night! After the hustle and bustle and excitement of the day, the evening ended with just the two of them, on the dance floor, sharing one final moment together. It was beautiful.

Please enjoy these select few images from Cameron and Tyler wedding day!

How stinking sweet is this?! How stinking sweet is this?!
