A Classic Summer Wedding

Jenna and Austin’s wedding day was classic and beautiful! The girls wore periwinkle blue, floor-length gowns with differing tops and the men wore classic navy blue suits. The light pastel blues and pinks of the bouquets and bow ties pulled everything together to create a classic summer wedding palette!

Although the day was warm, we were delighted to have a day full of sun and a perfectly shaded, southern style porch for photos!

The girls were so fun in their matching robes and mimosa glasses! And such a helpful bunch of bridesmaids! After a photo session on the lawn, the girls gathered around Jenna and each aided in picking out twigs and tiny critters that had gotten caught in her layers and layers of dress. (See photo as evidence below!)

The groomsmen were a fun group too! Four of the guys were Austin’s brothers! Boy did that make for some fun, goofy, brotherly love moments I caught on camera!

Jenna’s brother walked her down the aisle, and as she made it to her late father’s chair, she pulled a single rose from her bouquet and laid it down. It was such a tiny gesture but it held such great significance. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.

The classy ceremony was followed by a lively party! Jenna and Austin’s guests danced all night! During the dancing, we slipped away for some sunset photos! And boy, it did not disappoint!

The night ended with a “Let Love Glow” Exit! And a few sad faces from Jenna who did not want the party to end!

Four of these groomsmen were Austin’s brothers. So it’s safe to say there was a lot of goofing around in this bridal party!

The Ceremony

Can we just take a minute to admire how adorable the ring bearer was!!

Jenna pulled a rose from her bouquet to place on her late father’s seat.

And then throughout the ceremony that chair BEAMED with light! It was so surreal. No other chair in the room was lit directly with the sun like this one. He was definitely with us at that moment! It gave me chills. So beautiful!

Remember what I said about the fun wedding party? Well, they were impressive with their entrances!!

This wedding cake was so simple, elegant, and beautiful!

This sunset!!! My heart! It was so beautiful!! And I love how casual this photo is! Pulled right from the dance floor, Austin has his sleeves rolled up and Jenna’s dress is bustled!

This group knew how to dance!
