Megan and Brian’s Country Virginia Wedding

I remember doing a large family photo shoot with Megan’s family over a year ago when I first met Brian. They mentioned they were looking for a photographer for their wedding and I instantly thought, “Boy, I hope they pick me!”

Megan and Brian have such natural chemistry and truly enjoy each other’s company! Every laugh and smile is genuine between them! They have so much fun together and in turn, are so much fun to be around!

The Day

Megan and Brian’s country-farm themed wedding was classic with periwinkle and gold tones. The girls got ready in a small cottage overlooking fields of cows- seriously, it was breathtaking! The ceremony was held at Khimaira Farm where, upon arrival, we were greeted by the sweetest pups and kitties! I would also like to say the staff was incredible!!! The ceremony overlooked the beautiful mountains and the reception was held inside the barn strung with twinkling lights.

All throughout the day, we dodged the rain. Every second of clear sky that opened up we would grab someone to capture some photos.

Photographing a first look was not our original plan, but I am so grateful we did it, the photos we got in that time were so worth it! Minutes before the ceremony it was pouring, but cleared just in time! Then seconds after getting back inside the barn post-ceremony it started to rain once again!

Being a part of this intimate, love filled day was such an honor! I honestly could not have asked for a more welcoming and kind group of people! It was such a gift to be able to do something I love with you both!
