Becca and Galen

Becca contacted me late last year to schedule this session! She explained that their wedding had been pushed back and that they decided to just have a small ceremony in their backyard, under a beautiful blossoming tree you will see later in the photos! But, for the small, family-only ceremony, Becca didn’t wear her wedding dress. Her husband had never seen it because she was saving it for the day they could do a bigger celebration. But then she decided she wanted photos out here in California and decided it would be fun to have a first look in the mountains!

We had a small crew for the photos, including her mom, and with the help of everyone involved, we pulled off a first look followed by a session in their wedding attire!

This couple has been through a lot when it comes to wedding planning, but they remain so positive about the whole thing. “We are just extending our wedding day across multiple days of celebration,” Galen said. And honestly, I can’t think of a more encouraging outlook on such a tough year!
