Remotti Family

This was one of my very last sessions in Ridgecrest. We debated about location, but I picked the spot that won my heart over the most in my three years living here. This spot has Joshua Trees, something families always ask for, but my favorite part is the light. I’ve come to walk this spot alone a few times. It’s just outside of our town, but it feels completely different, especially at sunset. The moments right before the sun dips are magical. Light dances across the small cacti, shrubs, and tumble weeds and the sun rays are strong.

I love that I got to do one final session with this family. I’ve grown to love their boys, both so different and so sweet. And their mom has been a dear friend to me. It’s bittersweet, but here’s to hoping we cross paths again soon!
