Fort Story Lighthouse Engagement Session

I met Debbie and Wesley a few months ago. The moment I met them I secretly hoped they would pick me to be their photographer. And luckily they did! These two are so sweet and so easy to talk to! Spending a few hours with them on this gorgeous Fall morning was so fun.

Debbie wanted to do their engagement session at Fort Story by the lighthouses. I have never photographed an engagement session here, so we sort of went with the flow, walking around and picking locations that would work with the blazing, rising October morning sun.

We got onto the base bright and early; the weather was perfect! We walked the beach as the sun began to rise and admired the beauty of the rocks along the seashore. We were even able to get photos in front of both of the lighthouses.

I am so excited to continue to get to know these two and am looking forward to their wedding next Fall!
