These boys are my favorite!  I met Archer (he’s the older of the two boys) when he was just 8 months old. Since then we have had pretty regular, weekly play dates. The past few years have come with lots of changes— the birth of Everett, lots of new dance moves and games, and a couple of different homes.

This weekend we visited their new home construction site! After driving a slender dirt road back into the woods, the trees opened up and lots and lots of wood pallets and the outline of a house appeared. The boys have been talking about this house for years; expressing excitement in the new big boy beds they will have and new playroom! It was so fun to walk through the shell of the home, stepping and ducking carefully around open walls and wooden stabilizers, and see a glimpse of what the home will look like in another few months!
