Alyssa and Alec | A Garden Wedding

Alyssa and Alec’s romantic garden party wedding was on a beautiful, warm day at the Virginia Zoo. In the back corner of the zoo, past the groundhogs and peacocks is a gazebo surrounded by rose bushes; this was the ceremony site.

The sun was high and bright for the ceremony. Alyssa’s bridesmaids wore green dresses and held bouquets of sunflowers. Everything about the day was bright and cheerful! Alyssa walked up the aisle on a bed of flower petals with her father. After reading their heartfelt, personalized wedding vows, the two shared a kiss. It was a fairytale.

The reception location was just as beautiful. It sat under large ancient trees that shaded the tables but allowed the sun to gleam in through their branches. Each table was adorned with more sunflower arrangements (sunflowers were everywhere and it was beautiful!) that the bride and her mom had designed themselves!

Alyssa and Alec’s wedding was quaint and charming! It was evident that each person in attendance was very special to both Alyssa and Alec. They had a way of making everyone feel so loved and welcome on their fairytale wedding day!
