Laura and Dylan’s Williamsburg Engagement Session

This past weekend I had the opportunity to meet up with Laura and Dylan for their engagement session! At this point, Laura feels like an old friend! Laura was a bridesmaid in a few past weddings I’ve shot. Every wedding I photograph feels emotional and special, but the weddings she was a part of felt extra emotional and special allowing me to really connect with the bridal party.

Laura and Dylan’s engagement story is so sweet! Although Dylan had played with a few ideas of how he wanted to propose, he ended up choosing to pop the question during an evening walk with Laura. A walk, like so many others they had shared, became something so special in the blink of an eye.

Soon after the engagement, Laura and I starting planning when and where we would do her engagement session! Luckily we landed on one single day all three of us were available and boy was it the perfect fall day in Williamsburg!

The air was finally a bit chilly and the leaves were beginning to change! I just love how much like autumn these photos look! It has me excited for the next few fall months! And, I love that Dylan’s sweet pup got to be a part of a few photos as well!
